Your child's wonderful drawing is the starting point of the process. I then proceed with selecting the fabrics I want to work with and they may be anything from cotton prints to crafter's felt, from synthetics to silks, from cashmere to polar fleece. The softies are filled with hypoallergenic polyester fiberfill.
A photo is incorporated to further personalize the toy, but of course you may opt to omit the photo. The final product which began with your child's drawing becomes a meaningful toy now and even more so, in the future.
